Introduction
Duplo enhances security with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This requires two forms of identification for you to choose from to gain access to your account, thereby providing an extra layer of protection for your sensitive information and network from potential threats.
Duplo enables you to enforce 2FA on your account using either of the following methods:
A. Google Authenticator App- This app generates a 6-digit code. You can download the app from your phone's App Store or Google Play Store.
B. SMS OTP - This is a one-time password sent to your registered phone number.

Steps To Set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Google Authenticator App
- log in to your dashboard
- Click on the Profile icon on the top right, then click My Profile.
- Click on Security, then click on Secure my Account. The page below will appear;
- Use the already downloaded Google Authenticator app to scan, then input the 6-digit code displayed on the app.
- Finally, click on Enable.
- SMS OTP
This does not require setup. The SMS is sent to the phone number registered to your profile as a user.
Congrats! You've added an extra layer of security successfully. You can now choose OTP or Google Authenticator to complete payouts. This is how it shows for you to choose;

- I got a new phone. What should I do about my Google authenticator?
- There’s no need to worry. Go to your Duplo dashboard profile, click Security, then click Disable.
- Whenever you’re ready to re-enable the 2FA, download the Google Authenticator app on your new phone and follow the steps above.
- Can I use Google Authenticator and SMS OTP at the same time?
- Both can be enabled. However, when completing Payout, you only need to choose SMS OTP or Google authenticator as shown in the image above.
